Vivek Nair

I am a screenwriter, filmmaker and director based in West Sussex, UK. Formerly an Economics graduate, I had no formal film school training and taught myself screenwriting and filmmaking over several years. I have written, edited and directed 3 short films and produced a documentary on mental health.

I love hiking in new places and photographing my travels. I have recently tried my hand at poetry and novel writing. 

 

My love of films and the mysterious combined to make me a horror filmmaker. My passion is to bring unique, eerie stories combining spirituality and the paranormal to worldwide audiences.

Entering the industry in 2019, I won several awards and selections for scripts and short films including: 1st place for Best Suspense-Thriller Script and Finalist for Best Dark Sci-fi Horror short film. I am very grateful to have worked with fantastic teams on my projects, through whom I have learned a lot and continue to learn.
